Lifeline

Personal Emergency Response System

Rosscare’s Lifeline Response System is a help button for those who live alone and want a way to get help in the event a medical emergency or concerns were to occur. Pushing a small button that is worn either around the wrist or as a necklace will activate a call to the Response Center. The Response Center will respond to the client on the speaker system and will contact family, a friend, an ambulance, or police as directed by the client. If no response from the client they will automatically call emergency contacts.

Emergencies are sudden and unpredictable. It can be difficult to get up after tripping, slipping, or falling. Cuts, wounds, and fractures may need medical attention. Some may experience confusion, disorientation, reactions or imbalances resulting from medications. Sudden chest pain or a diabetic reaction would require prompt assistance. Studies have shown Lifeline Response System’s access to care, lowers the risk of side effects, and complications which stems from the delay of receiving immediate medical attention. Worry and stress impacts health. Lifeline Help Buttons take the worry away, by providing peace of mind.

Besides medical attention, some use Lifeline to summons help if they are alarmed about strange or disturbing noises, trespassers intruding or if they are nervous and need someone to talk to. Clients can use Lifeline to call a Veterinarian for a sick pet, or contact their home health provider, doctor, and family members. Clients can answer a ringing phone by simply pressing their button, thus preventing a potential fall.

There are many different brands of Help Buttons. Rosscare is proud to have chosen Lifeline: with a 30 year history of excellence, and many awards from independent researchers. Lifeline is user friendly, comfortable and has a professional Monitoring Staff.
